Description

House Share in Heaton (Park Road)

Cosy and friendly house share in the heart of Heaton, looking for one person to move into a large double room. The house is on the doorstep of Ouseburn, Byker and Sandyford so there’s plenty to do.

Currently I (Robbie) have lived here a year, Benjamin has lived here nearly two years and Andrew, another flatmate, is moving in August also. We’re looking for one chilled and friendly flatmate to move in and enjoy the house with us.

Rent comes to £325 each and bills balance out at around £80-£110 per calendar month, obviously cheaper in warmer months. The deposit is a month's rent. There are three floors to the property with a bedroom on each floor, with double glazing and high ceilings throughout.

There’s a communal living room, kitchen and spacious garden that’s lovely in the sun. Kitchen includes washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave and kettle. Bathroom includes a bath/shower and a separate room with a beautiful newly fitted toilet!!

Room available: large double bed, two wardrobes, desks and a set of drawers. Bay windows so there’s lot of natural light but it’s not overbearing or too warm.

The house is on Heaton Park Road and has great travel links with a bus stop outside (for the number 1 and 32/32A buses). 10/15-minute bus ride into town and 20/25-minute walk into town. Heaton Park Road has some great coffee shops, convenience stores and even a new bar.

Heaton Park is situated at the end of the street and is lovely when the weather’s warm. Morrisons/Sainsburys Local are both a 6-minute walk and Byker (Metro) is around a 12-minute walk away. 6-minute walk to both Heaton Road & Shields Road which have loads of shops, pubs and takeaways. Chillingham Road is just over a 15-minute walk away.

Robbie: I currently work as a teaching assistant and have a part-time job in hospitality too. My hobbies include reading, live gigs, going to the cinema and watching a humiliating amount of trash tv. I enjoy going out and having a drink but also living in various house shares, understand the importance of alone time.

Benjamin is an artist and has a studio nearby. He also works, mostly evenings. Andrew is a graphic artist from Manchester who is returning back to Newcastle after a year at home. We are a queer/lgbtq+ friendly household and pretty left wing. No students.

Going to start viewings soon If you want to see the property, send a message my way :)
