1 Cosy Double Room in 2 Bed Flat in Heaton

Hello! I’m looking for a flatmate for September. I am a 26 year old female living in a lovely 2 bed upstairs maisonette in Heaton. My current flatmate is moving out at the end of our tenancy as she has bought a house.

I am looking for a flatmate to move into the spare double room. The room available is the smaller of the two bedrooms, however the shared living area is really spacious as they’ve knocked down the wall where the third bedroom used to be so it’s a large open-plan space and there is room for a desk for you in here if you wish.

The flat is unfurnished, but as I have been living here I already have most of the communal furniture such as sofas, dining table and chairs, tv unit etc. The bedroom will be unfurnished so please bear this in mind. Some of the furniture in the photos belongs to my current flatmate (white sideboard / table and all the furniture in the study area through the archway), everything else is mine.

The flat is just off Heaton Park Road so is in an excellent location; 25 min walk into town, 15 min walk to Chillingham Road, 5 min walk to Ouseburn. Really good travel links with bus stops right at the end of the street or a 10 min walk to metro. It’s also a 2 minute walk to Morrisons which is handy.

A bit about me; I am sociable and friendly so it would be lovely to find a flatmate who would like to hang out, but I also value and respect having my own space too. like pub trips, hiking and sea dipping and in my downtime I enjoy reading and cooking.

One criteria I do have is that you don’t work from home every day. I work from home 2/3 days a week and I’m usually in the office for the remainder. I would prefer to find someone who has a similar routine!
