Lush cosy room in Heaton | Available 6th April

My ex partner and I moved into our 2 bed ground floor flat in Heaton two years ago and did it up in our own style. It’s cosy, bright and welcoming. It’s a great place to come home to.

I’m looking for a flatmate on a 3-12 month tenancy with the opportunity to extend after the agreed time if we gel. Previous flatmates have been aged 29-35 and have been standard professionals, PhD students, visiting uni researchers etc. Probably looking for someone in a similar situation and age range.

The flat is located in a quiet but communal area of Heaton with free on-street parking and is only 1 min walk from the main bus routes and ~3 mins walk to Chillingham Road for the metro, supermarkets, gym, indy bars and restauraunts etc. As can be seen in the photos, it comprises of a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. It also has a lovely little yard out back where I frustratingly try grow some fruit and veg.

The room itself is a comfortable size and is fully furnished with shelves, clothes rail, desk and chair, TV and a double bed. It has a garden view and is south facing so gets lots of sunlight during the day. All bills would be included.

Like most folk, I’m pretty social but like my own space when I need it. I’m pretty active most nights and weekends - climbing, surfing, hiking, fishing, gym etc but also like chilling with a beer in the flat or pub, having BBQs etc. Respectful of your space, my home is your home.
