Lush cosy room in Heaton | Short term stays only

My partner and I (aged 30 & 33) moved into our 2 bed ground floor flat in Heaton a year ago and have since done it up in our own style and we love the character it has. It’s cosy, bright and welcoming and is a great place to come home to.

We are looking for a flatmate on a short term rental basis only (e. g. 2-4 months). This would appeal to many; our previous flatmate was a 29 year old french PhD student on a short term visiting research stay. We are looking for someone in a similar situation and of roughly a similar age.

The flat is located in a quiet but communal area of Heaton with free on-street parking and is only 1 min walk from the main bus route and ~3 mins walk to Chillingham Road for the metro, supermarkets, gym, independent bars and restauraunts etc. As can be seen in the photos, it comprises of a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. It also has a lovely little yard.

The room itself is a really comfortable size and is fully furnished with a clothes rail, desk, TV and a double bed. It is south facing so gets lots of sunlight during the day. All bills would be included.

Like most folk, both my partner and I are very social but we also like our own space when we need it. We are very active most nights and weekends - climbing, surfing, hiking, gym etc but also like chilling having a beer in the pub or in the flat.
