Large, newly decorated double room

I have a lovely, newly decorated, really big double room available for rent in my Heaton flat.

The Room

Fully furnished, with a king size bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and wardrobe. There's plenty of space to have a little seating area, or add a desk for someone who worked from home. The big bay windows bring in loads of natural light.

The Flat

It's a 1st floor Tyneside flat so there are two other bedrooms but I use one as an office, so you would just be sharing with me. There's a large living room and a modern fully kitted out kitchen and a small bathroom at the back I bought the flat 2 years ago and have decorated everything in that time.
There's a private yard out the back (it does need a bit of work, that's my summer 2026 project) and plenty of on-street parking out front. The street is quiet and safe.
Bills are additional and would be around £150 per month (council tax, water, gas/electric, tv licence, broadband).

About me

I moved back to Newcastle 5 years ago, having grown up here and moved away. I work in HR, sometimes from home, sometimes out and about. I enjoy cooking, going to the gym and hanging out with friends. My party days are behind me but I do like a few drinks in a nice pub, or a bottle of wine with a pal on the sofa. I keep the flat clean and tidy. I'm looking forward to having someone to share with but am equally happy with my own company.

What I'm looking for

I am looking for a female flatmate, preferably either a professional or mature student, either late 20s or 30s. I'm happy to take pets in (depending on what they are), and don't mind a smoker as long as you're happy to go outside. Ideally I'd like someone who is happy to share a dinner or 2 in front of the telly.

The area

Heaton just keeps getting better. There's good grocery shops and plenty of cafe's, bars and restaurants. I'm 2 mins walk from Iris Brickfield park and local bus routes.
