Three rooms available in sociable houseshare

Three rooms are available in our sociable seven-bed Heaton house share. The house has a spacious kitchen, separate dining room and a large living room. We have two WCs and two baths/showers. There is also space for indoor bicycle storage.

Tenancy length: 12 months
Council Tax Band D
Utilities: £75-100 (not incl. CT)

The tenants who are staying on have lived here between one and four years and we are a drummer, a touring bassist and two final-year PhD students.

The three rooms available are:

Room 1. Large 2nd floor room - £325/month
Room 2. Small 2nd floor room + cupboard + bonus room - £281.67/month
Room 3. Medium 2nd floor room - £303.34/month

Rooms come furnished with double beds, but some of the furniture in the photos belongs to current tenants. Rooms 1 and 3 include a desk and chair.

Ideally, our new housemates would be:

- 24+ years old
- Creative or enjoys creative stuff like film, crafts, music, etc.
- Max 1 student of 3 new housemates (to minimise CT costs for the non-students)
- Veggie/vegan or happy living in a mostly meat-free home
- LGBTQ+ or an ally
- Sociable, clean and tidy, and happy to chip in with keeping the house running
- Up for the occasional house party (i. e. birthdays), but not into regular partying at home as we all work/study M-F
- Keen to get to know the housemates and contribute to a friendly, respectful atmosphere
- Working or studying outside of the house most days as the rooms are not well suited for WFH

The house is a shared space where people genuinely enjoy each other’s company, and we’d love to welcome people who want to be part of that.
