Double room available in two bed flat

Hello, I am looking for a female flat-mate to rent my spare room in a two bed flat, as my current lodger is moving back down south to be closer to family.

The room will be available at the start of May. The room is a fully-furnished double and has a huge built in cupboard which has a couple of rails to hang clothes and plenty of storage space/ shelves.

As the cupboard space is limited in the kitchen, there is no need to bring any utensils, pans or plates and you would be more than welcome to use whatever you need. The flat comes with a large shared living room, kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom. There is lots of natural light throughout and a small shed in the yard to put a bike into if needed.

The flat is in Heaton, a 5 minute walk to Chillingham road metro and roughly a 30 minute walk to the town centre for anyone who would prefer to walk. It is nicely sandwiched in between Heaton road and Chillingham road, and has a range of shops and cafes close by, as well as a a couple of local parks, including Jesmond Dene and Heaton park (a five min walk away). I have loved living in Heaton- it has so much to offer and some incredible independent restaurants (for any food lovers out there).

I am a teacher, so tend to work long hours during the week, but love to make the most of the weekends by going out for walks at the beach, out for drinks, and to church on a Sunday. I love running, being active and being out and about, but also appreciate nights in reading and some down time. I also tend to be away a lot in the school holidays, so there will be many times in the year where you get the flat to yourself.

I am looking for someone who is clean and tidy, respectful, but also sociable and up for going out for drinks etc.

Council tax is Band A (included in price).
