Double Room in Modern Flat in High Heaton

Hiii I’m Laura, I’m 28 and work as a Clinical Trial Manager for the NHS.
I bought the flat a couple of years ago and would be the live-in landlord (cringe!!) but I am very relaxed, quiet and tidy and out a lot so you’d have the place to yourself most evenings and weekends. I’d like to be pals with my flatmate (like I am with the current one who is moving away) and go for pub trips or have cosy nights in. Also appreciate the need for our own space though.

I have a garden which is lovely in the summer (pics to follow when weather is less grim) and there’s parking on my drive for free if you don’t want to pay for a permit (£75 a year for street parking).

I live about a 10/15 min walk from the Freeman and there’s a bus stop which goes direct into town 2 mins away. Metro stop is also within a 15 min walk. There’s a big Sainsbury’s 5 minutes away which is a godsend, and a gym about 2 minutes away.

I love music so go to lots of gigs and also a big cinema fan and have all streaming services installed which you’re more than welcome to use!!

Unfortunately I can’t accommodate pets as I already have a little cat called Penny who pops up in the pics, see if you can spot her. She would be a bit miffed to have another creature entering her space… She is shy at first but LOVES cuddles once she’s warmed to you.

I work from home most of the time so someone who doesn’t work in entirely remotely (a hybrid job with a few days a week in office is fine) would be my preference, so we weren’t on top of each other.
