Double room in a social, professional house share

2 double rooms available in a 4 bedroom house share. The rooms contain a wardrobe, mirror, chest of drawers and a double bed.

There are currently 2 women and 1 man in the house, all professionals. Outside of work we enjoy enjoy exercise, gaming, music, films & TV, board games, surfing, reading and the outdoors.

Everyone in the house is tidy and respectful and find a good balance between socialising together and having time to themselves. We don't own any pets but there's one cat in the neighbourhood that has adopted us and comes to visit frequently.

There is a one off-road parking space in the form of a drive and also plenty of room around the cul-de-sac and out the back for parking. We have a large 50 inch TV in the spacious living room with a corner sofa. On top of all the normal kitchen appliances we have a dishwasher and a huge American style fridge freezer. There is one bathroom with a bath/shower, and an additional downstairs toilet that has a utility closet with a washer dryer. There is a small garden with tables and chairs, planters (for growing fruit/veg) and a secure shed in which we store our bikes. The garden also allows for rear access to Marleen Avenue.

The house is very conveniently located - 10 minutes walk to Chillingham Road Metro Stop offering regular services to town and the coast. Also located within 5 minutes walk of three bus stops (number 62, 63 and 1) offering regular buses into town. You can also walk into town which normally takes around 45 minutes.

The house share is a social one, so we're looking for a social person who shares similar interests to us. 2 rooms are available at £430 and £440 a month respectively (one is slightly larger than the other). The rent includes all bills: water, electric, gas, council tax and fibre optic broadband. One room (the £430 one) is available from 20th October 2025 and the other (£440) is available from 1st November 2025.
