Description
Tidy ground floor double bedroom available in an exceptional two-bedroom flat located in Sandyford. I have listed a few bits about the room, house, and myself below. I am looking for a professional of similar age and interests, who can move in as soon as possible.
I ask that anybody interested comes to view the house first, so that I can meet you. Alternatively, we can arrange to meet for coffee/drinks if that works better. Please drop me a message/WhatsApp.
About the room
· Double, rear-facing room in ground floor flat, with large window allowing for lots of natural light.
· Bed frame and mattress are less than a year old.
· Dresser and large wardrobe included.
· Space for desk, if needed.
· Cupboard under stairs directly opposite room (pictured). This can be used almost exclusively and provides ample storage space.
About the house
· Ideally located. Walkable to Northumberland Street (20 minutes) and Ouseburn (10 minutes). Starbeck Avenue (2 minutes) also boasts an exceptional range of restaurants.
· Well connected with local public transport systems, with several bus routes into town, the coast, Silverlink, and Northumberland within 5 minutes’ walk. Jesmond Metro station 15 minutes’ walk.
· Good sized communal living area, kitchen, and bathroom.
· Large rear yard with a washing line, barbecue, picnic bench, and storage box, as well as ample space for anything else really.
· Bills/utilities are not included, but are all (water, gas and electric, Wi-Fi, council tax) currently in place, so would just be a case of adding you to the accounts.
· A good landlord, who has been extremely communicative and helpful with any queries and requests.
· On-street parking (with permit). Generally, no issues getting a parking spot on this road.
· No pets allowed.
• Council tax band A
About me
· 27-year-old male.
· Only tenant in house due to my previous housemate moving for a job.
· I am a Senior Research Coordinator in the NHS, working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home.
· I enjoy socialising and spending time in the communal areas.
· In my spare time I like to spend as much time out of the house as I can, often going out for hikes and walks around the region. I also enjoy analogue photography, football, and food (FYI, I am vegetarian).
· Enjoy going for coffee and can often be found at food events.
· I have previously lived with males and females, who I have no doubt would attest to me not being a creep.
