Room to Let (Student/Young Professional)

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a female flatmate to move in to my two bed rental in Jesmond, as my flatmate is moving out to go travelling! Post-grad students or young professionals very welcome.

It’s a furnished upper maisonette flat (recently redecorated) with outdoor space (courtyard and park across the road), free on street parking space, and fully furnished, in an amazing location 5 minutes walk from Ilford Road metro. Shared living space (bathroom, living room and kitchen). Rent will be £600 p/m, beginning at the start of September. Bills aren’t included but work out at around £50/60.

There is a small cafe (Little Aidan’s) at the end of the street as well as a convenience store. 5 minutes walk to Ilford Road metro and just a short 15 minute into central Jesmond and local shops.

Never had any problems with the landlords, positive relations and friendly neighbours also. This area is slightly more residential than central Jesmond.

I am looking for a friendly, mature, tidy flatmate to take over the tenancy. I’m a 24 year old post-graduate, studying for my Masters at Newcastle University. I like to socialise and enjoy a night out, but equally like to have a cosy movie night in. I also prioritise spending time in nature, hiking and scuba diving. It would be great to have a flatmate who I can spend time with, though I also respect and love alone time.

Council tax band is B, for any young professionals interested.
