Jesmond Vale

Hi lovely people!
Looking for someone to take over my tenancy in a gorgeous flat in jesmond vale, right on the edge of the iconic jesmond dene park. I have loved living in this flat but want to move in with my boyfriend and due to his personal circumstances that would be ASAP.

There are 2 rooms available- one is my flatmates at £600 (white bed sheets) and mine the larger (pink bedsheets) room at £750 (Emily is considering moving into my room, but we decided to list both rooms to see interest)

The flat would be available from end of march- mid April time but can be flexible depending on your preference. It is a 4-5 month tenancy (ends August 15th ) but option to continue tenancy if you like it. One month rent is expected as a deposit but can negotiate with you if finding money for deposit is a struggle, the property will be inspected before you move in so you won’t be held liable for anything not your fault (not that I can think of anything they would deduct)

The room is a double room, in a ground floor flat, in an excellent location, it’s a 25 minute walk into Newcastle city centre - or a 5-7min bus journey (with frequent busses running every 5 mins, and bus stop only 2min walk away) The flat is available for professionals or students, subject to rental checks, with easy commutes to Northumbria or Newcastle university but also the RVI/ Freeman. It’s a 15 minute walk into jesmond high street, with the iconic Osbourne road if you enjoy a bar crawl, or a 10 minute walk into Heaton- chillingham road full of amazing food places. Loads of lush cafes, restaurants and pubs close by- the bluebell, luckies, purlieu, denes deli, one kitchen and social, scream for pizza and the punchbowl less than 5 min walk away! (More than happy to give recommendations if you’re new to the area). Heaton park and Jesmond dene are beautiful parks right on the doorstep and actually made me get into running this year!! There is a good gym a 5 min walk away and Morrisons/Sainsbury’s close by. On street parking. We have a small garden area with a bike shed. The area is residential mostly which is rare in Heaton/jesmond so it’s very peaceful and quiet. The location is what makes this place a gem!

The flat is modern - with a good kitchen and bathroom, you would be sharing with the lovely Emily, 28- a speech therapist working 9-5, who loves the gym, sharing a glass of wine over a good Netflix show and baking (11/10 apple crumble!!). We keep the flat nice which is easy to do when just sharing with one other person- share all cupboard space in kitchen and bathroom and take turns buying toilet roll etc. we share cutlery, pots and pans etc and the room is already furnished so you wouldn’t need to be bringing much unless you wanted to. We also have a tv, hoover etc so no extra expenses. The landlady is great and available 24/7 on WhatsApp. Ideal tenant takeover would be a female in a similar age range. Emily is honestly an amazing flatmate and easygoing! I’ve been super lucky 🍀 I know she would make future tenants feel very welcome.
