Small double room to rent in Montagu, Kenton.

This is a small double bedroom, currently including a three-quarter bed (futon with two mattresses), storage in the form of drawers and shelves, and a window which lets in plenty of sun. A small wardrobe could be fitted instead of shelving unit on request, or a clothing rail installed.

The room is one of 3 bedrooms, housing the owner, another lodger and two cats. The house has been recently decorated and is very spacious, with a large kitchen, living room, dining room, utility room, front and back garden (full of flowers and even a hot tub!), conservatory and plenty of storage space in the attic. There is a shed in which bikes can be stored and parking at the front, as well as a drive in the back garden. The house gets plenty of sun and is very bright.

The house is an end-terrace in a quiet, pleasant area. There is a local corner shop and a small Tesco less than 10 minutes walk away. The house is also about 25 minutes walk from Gosforth High Street. There is a bus stop very close by and it takes 15-20 minutes to get into town. There are more buses available from a bus stop which is also within a 10 minute walk.

Dasha (owner): I have lived in the house for two years and have put a lot of time and love into making it my home. I am a 34 year old Drama and English teacher and tend to spend a lot of time out of the house. My interests include socialising, the great outdoors, nature, travelling, the pub, nights out, gigs, dancing, cooking, theatre, art and reading. I am outgoing, energetic, organised, clean and tidy. I am looking for someone like-minded to get along with. Must be an animal lover who will also get on with my two (very sweet and cuddly) cats.
