I have a clean furnished double room available in my 3 bed house on Lealholm Road that I own and have lived in for the past 10yrs. The house has Double Glazing and Gas Central Heating. I have had five previous male and female lodgers that have stayed between 1 and 2yrs.

The majority of previous lodgers have been female, and due to a previous male lodger being disruptive & unreasonable, I am only accepting enquiries from females at this time, I may revise this preference in the future though.

The property is 1 min walk from Longbenton Metro station and an 8 min metro to the City for Newcastle/Northumbria Universities. Walking distance to Northumbria University Coach Lane Campus, Freeman Hospital, DWP/HMRC/Ministry, Quorum, Four Land Ends and local shops.

The house is undergoing gradual modernisation, but is safe, spacious, clean, tidy and has a new kitchen and appliances. Neighbours are friendly and the area is safe with commuters passing by. There is a large front porch for Bicycle storage. The property, garden and driveway has CCTV for added security.

The Room has a double bed, chest of drawers, Freeview TV, small drawer unit, double mirrored wardrobe, triple mirrored wardrobe, full height wall mirror, desk and chair and a shelving unit.

I am a mature postgraduate, I run my own IT consultancy business and sometimes work from home, I am also a part time security guard.

There is off street parking on a spacious driveway. The room is adjacent to the bathroom and is located at the back of the house so is quiet. The room overlooks the allotments and Metro. There is a side building for bulk storage if required and a spacious patio/lawn. Some fitness equipment is also available in the dining area and on the patio.

Rent Includes all bills (electric, gas, council tax, water, sewerage, Internet/WiFi) and some consumables (washing powder, washing liquid, toilet paper)
