Furnished room for rent within a 2 bed ground floor flat. Short-term basis up to 2 months.

The flat has a separate dining room and living room, with a recently updated bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen.

Situated next to Longbenton Metro Station and 5 mins walk to the DWP/HMRC sites and It is ideal for access to the Freeman Hospital (10/15 min walk). There are numerous shops/Restaurants/Pubs within walking distance.

I’m looking for someone who’s respectful and must clean/tidy up after themselves.
The room rental includes only the room and all bills, but any other items needed to live are for you to provide for yourself.
There is full fibre 100mb broadband, terrestrial TV, Netflix, prime video, Apple TV, Paramount+ & Disney+ in the living room (50” 4K TV).

There is a small front garden (South Westerly facing), which is part decking/grass and has patio furniture for the warmer days.

On street parking is available with a permit, but if vehicle suitable can use the driveway.

I am happy to rent to mature or visiting students.

Rent must be paid monthly in advance and deposit by bank transfer to hold room. Deposit will be returned within 1 week of satisfactory return of keys and room condition check.

Deposit is non-refundable if tenant cancels, unless room can be re-let and there is no loss of rent.


I tend not to stay at the flat regularly. For this reason this room may suit a couple, but there would be a £100 per month supplement.
