Bright, clean and spacious double bedroom in tradi

Hello!

I'm looking for a lodger to share my home - a spacious Edwardian terrace that's comfortable, quiet and well-equipped.
The room is a large double on the first floor at the front - bright and airy with a double bed (memory foam mattress), antique dresser with mirror, plenty of wardrobe space, bookcase and desk. The shared bathroom features both a roll-top bath and good-sized shower.

The kitchen-diner is probably the heart of the house. It's big enough for eight people, gets the morning sun, and if you like cooking you'll appreciate the five-ring gas range, dishwasher, and proper equipment like a Kenwood mixer and Magimix and lots of other toys - it’s very well equipped! There's a washing machine, drying rack and dehumidifier in the utility room. Just to mention - I'm vegetarian/pescatarian so would prefer no meat or poultry in the house please.

The house is warm (central heating throughout), has decent WiFi (61 Mbps), and is non-smoking and no pets.

West Road is just a few minutes' walk - loads of ethnic food shops, takeaways and restaurants, plus a Post Office. Good bus links into town, or it's half an hour on foot downhill to uni or the station. Parking right outside if you have a car.

About me: In theory I'm retired (former language school owner and currently trustee/director of the Lit & Phil among other things!) but I’m still a musician and working with a group in Amsterdam. I'm friendly and sociable but very respectful of privacy, so you'll have your own space while being part of a welcoming household.

Rent of £500 per calendar month includes everything, all household expenses - heating, WiFi, water, electricity, council tax. Deposit needed.
