Your room is a spacious, bright double on the first floor at the front of the house. It comes fully furnished with a comfortable double bed (memory foam mattress), antique dresser with large mirror, generous wardrobe space, bookcase, and a desk perfect for working or studying.

Shared spaces include a lovely bathroom with both roll-top bath and large shower. Downstairs, there's a large kitchen-diner that catches the beautiful morning sun, with seating for six and everything you could need: fridge-freezer, five-ring gas range with double ovens, microwave, dishwasher, plus quality appliances like a Kenwood mixer and Magimix food processor. I really like cooking! There's also a handy utility room with washing machine and drying rack.

About the house: It's centrally heated, non-smoking, and pet-free, with reliable WiFi (61 Mbps average). Just to mention - I'm vegetarian and would appreciate you not keeping or cooking meat/poultry in the house (fish is absolutely fine though!).

Great location close to West Road with its fantastic ethnic food shops, restaurants, takeaways, and Post Office. Excellent bus connections, and it's an easy 30-minute downhill walk to the university or central station. On-street parking available right outside.

I'm a retired musician and former language school owner looking for a friendly, quiet lodger to share my home. I'm sociable but very respectful of privacy, so you'll have your own space while being part of a welcoming household.

Rent:£500 per calendar month and that includes everything, (WiFi, heating, water, electricity, council tax). Deposit required.
