The flat is ideally located in the vibrant heart of Newcastle, just a 5-minute walk to the Quayside and a quick 10-minute stroll from the city centre. Set within a modern building, the flat is split over two levels, creating a spacious and comfortable layout. There’s one shared bathroom, but one flatmate has an ensuite, so it’s typically very accessible.
The bedroom available is exceptionally spacious and filled with natural light, thanks to a large window that offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. It comes fully furnished with a comfortable double bed and ample storage space. The kitchen is also generously sized and fully equipped with all essentials, including a washing machine and dishwasher, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.
The building is currently undergoing some exterior works, though these are not related to the flat itself. There are workers stationed at the main door who manage entry, adding a layer of security. They’re very friendly and will permit you entry as well as assist with visitor access; just note that visitors may require a brief induction upon arrival, which you should let the security team know about in advance.
The flat is shared with fellow students from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, all currently in Newcastle for a paid internship. I am moving out due to my own job circumstances changing unexpectedly. The flat is council tax band D.
