One room available in a clean & quiet 2-bed house

Hello!

I'm looking to find a replacement for my housemate, who is leaving for work in February, in a lovely 2-bed house in Spital Tongues.

The house has a spacious living room, kitchen, and a small backyard to enjoy. We also have a reserved parking space, which is a bonus!

The house is located in a peaceful, safe area, just a 15-minute walk from the city centre and under 10 minutes to the RVI. The room available is furnished with a comfy double bed and plenty of storage space.

I’m looking for a friendly, clean, and easy-going person to share the space with. While I’m open to anyone, I’d particularly prefer a mature student or young professional.

A bit about me: I’m an Astrophysics PhD student at Newcastle University. I’m friendly, easy-going, and love a good chat — whether it’s about history, culture, geography, technology, or, of course, astronomy!

I’m not a party person and prefer spending my evenings indoors. I enjoy cooking, cycling, birdwatching, or just having a nice chat.

I like to keep the house tidy, so I’m hoping to find someone who feels the same.

The rent is £450 per month, and bills (electricity, gas, water, and broadband) are usually between £70-100 per person.
