My current lodger is moving out in December 2013.
The house offers a shared lounge, dining room, bathroom and kitchen (microwave, oven and washing machine, tumble dryer etc), and also benefits from rear garden and use of off road parking if required.
The room is a reasonable sized double that looks out onto the garden, it is plainly decorated with a lockable bedroom door for privacy and additional security if you feel you need it furniture includes a standard double bed and has 2 sets of free standing drawers, and built in cupboard for hanging storage. There is room for a small wardrobe or additional drawers if your bringing them with you. Can sort out TV & DVD player if your not bringing one with you.
The house is located on the outskirts of Sunderland and is close to local shops, bus routes and sports centre, with good access to the City Centre, Doxford Park, A19 and A690. We are 14 Mile from Newcastle, 10 mile from Durham and 29 from Teesside. So it’s very central for travelling anywhere. My neighbours are families and couples.
Monthly rent is £300 including amenities, council tax, unlimted broadband.
Working couples would be considered for additional rent, and guests/partners would be welcome at weekends and holidays. (Within reason)
I'm an easy going, open minded and friendly person, who enjoys watching films, going to the pictures, local pub quiz, nights out/in.
My ideal housemate is a sociable person but not a party animal, I’m in and out of the house a lot and happy for people to join in but independent person with own social life too is essential, however I do enjoy nights in with a takeaway, film and a few drinks with my housemate.
I have 2 friendly and very lazy cats in the house called Smokey and Bandit, they are affectionate once they get to know you but until then they will leave you alone.
Potential Lodger would be required to chip in with the household chores (excluding the cats).
My current lodgers tenancy agreement runs out in Decemeber.
