House mate wanted

I am looking for a house mate to rent one of the rooms in my house. The upstairs is a newly decorated bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe already there. It’s a bit smaller than the downstairs room but can be made nice and cosy. The downstairs room, is bigger with a bathroom attached and a quirky mezzanine floor that can be used by the tenant however they like.

The reason I am renting one of the rooms out is so I have a bit of extra money to contribute to the rising cost of everything. The tenant can treat the house as their own. The monthly rent includes all bills and utilities including council tax. The upstairs room is furnished. I should also mention that I do have a white Labrador that stays with me from time to time so ideally the tenant won’t either be allergic or dislike dogs.

The house is a typical 3 bed semi located in Hadrian park which is just off the coast road next to sliverlink. It’s 5 minutes from tynemouth and 10 minutes from Newcastle which makes it a handy place to commute from. It also sits just off the A19 so is great for access to the tunnel. The house also has a nice garden which can be a bit of a sun trap. The driveway can fit two cars including mine.

I’m a 28 year old male who is a firefighter in Newcastle so there are times where I’m not in the house all that often due to my shifts meaning the tenant can also enjoy the house on their own.
