The housemates are responsible for keeping the house clean and tidy which they do by a rota system.
Downstairs there is a lounge with leather sofas, a large television with a Virgin Tivo box.
The kitchen has two fridges, microwave, washing machines and ample storage cupboards.
There is a separate dining area with table and chairs .
The property has unlimited virgin Wi-Fi broadband (cost included in rent).
The garden has a shed where bicycles can be stored and a patio area with table and chairs for barbecues when the weather permits.
There is a convenience store 100 meters from the property for essentials which is open long hours and the main supermarkets are in town a few minutes away.
The property is approved and licensed by the local council who carry out annual checks.
The house is a no smoking house; smoking is permitted in the garden.
No pets are permitted. We ask that nothing be stuck to the walls although we are more than happy to put up picture hanging hooks if required.
The rooms are for single occupancy - visitors can stop the occasional night by mutual agreement with other tenants
The contract is for a minimum period of six months and after the six months the contract continues until either the tenant gives 6 weeks notice or the landlord gives 4 weeks notice. There is a deposit of £300 and this is secured under the government’s deposit protection scheme which resolves any disputes.
The landlord is responsible for all the bills (excluding any parking permits) and to keep the property in a good state of repair, whilst the tenant must keep the communal area and their own room in a clean tidy state and report any thing that needs fixing.
