Relaxed quiet room in new house

We’re looking for 1 person to rent one of our two upstairs bedrooms, with access to a shared kitchen/dining room/lounge space. The two upstairs rooms share a shower/toilet and a second shared toilet on the floor next to the lounge. The bedroom in this ad includes a small 2 seater sofa, small desk and a second hand tv but no streaming subscriptions included.

We’re both pretty relaxed and spend most of our free time playing video games, writing or doing random crafty things. Shared spaces/appliances are kept clean and we usually give the house & bathrooms a clean every 2 weeks or so. You will need to help clean shared spaces and be responsible for cleaning your own bathroom/bedroom.

Quieter students are welcome but both the house and street are quiet, family friendly and not suitable anyone in their party/nightlife phase of life.

I sometimes bake an edible cake to share (sometimes not so edible)
Lots of footpaths in the area if you like walking

Cons - we’re terrible cooks and do not cook for others
The earliest buses are from 8am so you’ll need to walk to town or use a car if you start work early.

There is no garden access at the moment but I am looking into getting a second hand greenhouse next year. If you’re interested in nature friendly gardening then you can have free access to this when it’s finished.
