The house is spacious and never feels overcrowded. The basement is rented separately to a 26-year-old male who has his own bathroom and living area, so everyone has a good amount of privacy and their own space.

It’s a really easy-going house and there are no strict “house rules” as such — the main thing is just being respectful and keeping shared spaces tidy for each other. It’s the sort of house where everyone says hello, has the odd chat in the kitchen, but equally respects each other’s space and gets on with their own thing.

A little about me — I’m pretty laid-back and easy to live with. I enjoy a chat and a laugh, but I’m equally respectful of people’s space and routines. The house has always had a relaxed atmosphere and feels more like a home than a typical house share.

I think the best sign of whether somewhere is a good place to live is whether people actually stay — every previous lodger has stayed for at least 9 months, and my current lodger has been here for over two years, which hopefully says a lot about the house and the atmosphere here.

I also have an English bulldog who’s very much part of the home. He’s super friendly, low hassle, and mostly just enjoys attention and naps — so ideally you’d be a dog person!
