Welcome to Roman House, a charming, detached stone-built home with a 1.5-acre south-facing garden with wildlife, many birds, sqirrels, and occasionally foxes and badgers.

My wife, Grace, and I have enjoyed living here for over 43 years alongside our friendly cat, Sunny.

Situated in a peaceful area near the town, Grange Terrace offers great views over parkland and the River Forth. The house features bright, spacious rooms, including two well-furnished guest rooms with a comfortable double bed, electric blanket, double leather sofa, 43” Smart TV, fast Virgin Media broadband, and additional amenities like a fridge, kettle, and USB power points.

Guests share a fully equipped upstairs kitchen with another lodger, offering a washer-dryer, freezer, and views of two magnificent trees. There are two bathrooms (one on each floor) and ample parking on our long driveway or the street.

Bo’ness is a quaint town with shops, cafes, and attractions like a steam railway and the Hippodrome cinema, located just 20 miles from Edinburgh. Excellent transport links include regular trains from nearby Linlithgow and bus services to neighbouring towns.

Rent: £630/month for a single guest or £680/month for a couple.

For stays of less than a month, the deposit will be lower. Details on request.
