An elderly person is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person is mainly looking for the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight, and perhaps having a quick breakfast together before they go to work.

This person is otherwise fairly self-sufficient, but would appreciate some practical help around the house such as occasional shopping and cooking, and help with light household chores, plus ad hoc tasks and errands that might arise.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished bedroom (these is a choice of room) with a single bed, there is a shared bathroom and shower room, and shared use of the kitchen and sitting room and garden.

The property is located in Alvechurch which is approx. 10 miles to the south of Birmingham. Alvechurch Station is 10 mins walk, and there is parking.

The person’s interests include seeing his family, watching old series and programmes such as Flog It. They are vegetarian and enjoy dishes such as nut-loaf, lentil bolognaise and such like.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker.
