Young professional/grad house share

Hi we are Jessica, Caroline, Dharan and Hassan. We are looking for another housemate to join our warm and friendly houseshare. Hassan is moving out at the end of the month so we are looking for a new housemate as he is getting married!

A bit about us. We are all graduates and are in our early 20s. Jessica graduated in business and works in Selfridges in Birmingham. Caroline is polish and works in recruitment. She WFH a lot but is also based in Brindley Place. Dharan is originally from Sri Lanka. He has been studying at the University of Law in Birmingham doing the solicitors exams (SQE). Hassan graduated from Aston University and works in HR.

We did not know each other before we moved in but we are all young professionals and graduates. We have enough in common, but differences that make things fun and interesting.

We are a houseshare that is relaxed and friendly. There is someone around if you want to have a chat when you get home from work but we respect each other's space as well.

The house has a communal living room where you can catch up with others. We have a well equipped kitchen. There are two fridges, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. There is fibre optic broadband if you work from home.

We have a lovely garden that is maintained by our gardener Tim in the summer months. We also have a cleaning lady called Becky who comes in every couple of weeks to clean the communal areas. We have a dedicated maintenance team called Roy and Dean who pop round to fix stuff. Our landlady is Liz who has a number of properties. Everything is efficient, well run and fair.

The room that is available is a small double which rents at £375pcm. The room has double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, large bay window and small desk. Bills are £140 a month for everything (gas, elec, water, broadband, tv licence, council tax, cleaner, gardener).

The house is 5 minutes walk from Bearwood High Street where you will find a great selection of shops and supermarkets. We are a short walk from a couple of lovely parks. The house is 15 minutes from Birmingham city centre on the bus and approximately 25 minutes in rush hour. The house is on the 48 bus route that takes you direct to the University of Birmingham. We are also near to the M5 motorway junction. Harborne is approximately a mile down the road with coffee shops, restaurants and pubs if you fancy a change from Bearwood.
