Bright, quiet room in a shared friendly house

Housemate needed to share with two male and two female tenants. We’re all friendly and the house is big and cheap. The bedroom that’s available is the garden-facing, quiet room. It has a double bed, a chest of drawers, a cupboard and a desk and chair. The bathroom upstairs+ toilet downstairs, kitchen and (large) living room are all shared spaces.

Three of us work full-time in academic institutions and the other works at a library.

We’re all good friends here, and sometimes we watch film together in the living room. Some of us share food and cook together. We would like you to join! Some of us share an organic veggie box every week from Riverford and have a cooking rota. We have a cleaning rota and share the responsibilities of sorting out bills etc.

The rent (£268.75) and council tax (£35.75) comes to £304.5 per month; the internet is about £11.63 per person per month, then there’s water, gas, and power to pay for too.

There’s plenty of parking space in the neighbourhood. If you commute, then there’s a bus that goes straight into the city from across the road. For cyclists, you can get onto the new cycle route in less than five minutes, then the ride into town in 20 minutes (we all have bikes here, and there’s plenty of room for one more). We also have a spare bike you are welcome to use.

Cannon Hill Park is close by, and there are M&S and Aldi in the area too. If you like film and theatre, thenb MAC is a 10-minute walk from the front door.

Politics-wise, we’re all left-leaning, so ― you’ll probably like us more if you’re a bit of a leftie too. Veggies / vegans are welcome, but we all eat meat sometimes.
