I am a live in landlord and looking for housemate for one of my double rooms (total of three double bedrooms, this is an upstairs maisonette). The property has recently gone through a full renovation.
Room 1 faces the front of the property ( currently taken) and Room 2 faces the back of the property (will be available in mid Nov). Both rooms are spacious double rooms. There are two shared toilets (one with bath facilities) in this property.
The property is just off Broad Street , with close amenities of
-Broadway Plaza 1-2 min
-Morrison's supermarket 3-5 min
-Post office 3-5 min
-Five Ways Tram Stop (Midland Metro Line 1) 2-3 min
-Brindley Place (bars and restaurants) 3-5min
-Corner shop 1 min
-Five Ways Train Station 4-6 min
-New Street Train Station 15 min
-City Centre High Street 15 min
The rooms are for single occupancy. Bills will be included (electricity, gas, water, council tax, broadband), however, TV licence is excluded (I don't watch TV, sorry). Rent is £725 (front facing, room 1 - now taken) £700 (back facing, room 2 - available from mid Nov) per person per month.
Transportation: -
(i) If you have a car (please ignore this if you don't), you could apply for resident permit to park off street. It is £38 per annum (£3.17 per month). However, the flat falls within the Birmingham City Centre Clean Air Zone area, please check if your car comply to the requirement (to avoid £8 per day charges)
(ii) If you have a bike - apology, there is no storage space that can store bike safely.
I work for an engineering consulting firm, hence, I work away often and may need to arrange viewings on certain days. Room is available from mid November, however, if you are looking for other moving dates, I am happy to discuss about this.
The photos attached for both rooms are very similar due to its similarity in sizes - but pay attention to the lamp shades and windows, there are two different rooms photos attached. Individual descriptions also included in the photos itself to describe which room is which (may need laptop to view them).
Housemate(s) requirement - I would appreciate if you are NOT a party animal. Cleanliness is very important, so please only show interest if you can clean up after yourself.
