Large double Room available in homely house!

Hello, my name is George, I am a 30-year-old working professional looking to rent out a room in my home.

I live near Selly Oak station on a quiet residential road. I have free off-street parking and a patio and garden to enjoy in Summer. I am looking to rent out a spacious/light double room, recently decorated. The property has two shared living rooms, and upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet, a kitchen, a garden and a garage (if additional storage is needed!). Plenty of space!

The house is well placed, enjoying a host of local amenities, the Battery retail park is very close with a large Sainsburys, M&S, Halfords, Gym etc, you name it, they have it! There is a green and spacious local park a 1 min walk away with running and cycling routes.

Selly Oak train station just a walk away, connecting you with Birmingham New Street (10 mins), and Bournville / Stirchley (5 mins). Also, Harborne is walkable, c. 25 mins or so, which gives you access to multiple choices for pubs, bars, cafes and other activities. Also, there is access to the canal for cycling or running if the train doesn’t take your fancy.

About me: I am an easy-going, sociable guy, and have been living in Birmingham for about 6 years now, so know the area well. I am into my cycling, running, tennis and golf, socialising, going to the pub etc or just taking it easy. I like to keep the place fairly clean and tidy. I work in finance, so I am pretty busy working in the weekday so am in and out.

I am looking for a flatmate to get on with and who will look after the house.
