Rare Room in Edgbaston/Harborne Flat

My name is Rhi and I'm looking for a flatmate to move into this very leafy and green area of Birmingham. My flatmate is moving out so I will need someone to take his room ASAP.

The flat is ideal for either a mature university student, a city centre worker, or someone who works at the QE Hospital.

You'll be living with me, aged 29, who works in politics. I'm an excellent, quiet, and tidy flatmate with an impressive plant collection.

I'm looking for a flatmate who would be interested in hanging out with me (bonus for gigs) but equally understands chill time. I would like them to become good friends with me!!

The flat itself is located within a lovely estate which is a quiet mixed community. Barely any traffic passes by the estate.

The boring financial bits per person:

Rent: £550
Water and electric: £83
Wifi: £11
Council Tax (Band B): £67.50
TV Licence: £159 (Optional - I paid this upfront so it's up to both of whether you would like to pay for it).

A deposit of £550 is required.

The practical bits:

The room comes fully furnished with a desk, chair, bed, bedframe, and built in wardrobe. There is a lot of storage and there is enough room in the room to add a reading chair.

The room is east facing so you'll have a gorgeous view of the sunrise in the morning.

The flat comes with a shared bathroom, shower and bathtub. The kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, four shelves for your groceries, and a washing machine.

The living room is fully furnished and comes with a nice dining table if you are the sort to host dinners - of which I am.

The flat also comes with two (!) balconies. One is ours which is private and east facing. The other is shared with our neighbours, who are quiet and friendly. We mainly use this balcony for storage.

Commute information:

- 20 mins walk into Harborne. Supermarkets include Waitrose, Marks and Spencers, and Iceland. Morrisons and Aldi are a short bus ride away.
- 20 - 25 minute walk to University station.
- Eight minute walk to nearest bus stop which services the number 23 or 24 into the city centre. Without traffic the bus can get to Five Ways and the Library of Birmingham in 15 - 20 minutes.
- There is also the 48, a seven minute walk from the flat, which takes you into Bearwood and further onto West Bromwich.
- The nearest gym is Harborne Fitness Centre, around a half hour walk. The University gym and PureGym are a serviceable bus service away.
- The nearest pub, The White Swan, is a ten minute walk away.
