I am a live-in landlady and I work from home.
I have an ensuite available for rent in a 4 bedroomed, detached house.
The rooms are fully furnished with a bed, fitted wardrobes, curtains, desk and chair.
Lounge: You are welcome to share the lounge when appropriate. WiFi internet is available in the house and extends to the garden which is a very peaceful space and especially pleasant in the warmer seasons.
Kitchen: I am a vegetarian and prefer not to have meat in the kitchen. You may cook vegetarian food & use the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a microwave and all usual utensils to share.
Bathroom. We have one ensuite with a private shower and toilet and one double bedroom with shared shower, bath and toilet and also an additional separate washroom with toilet which is shared with one other lodger and myself (female)
Gardens: There are large gardens (front and back) with plenty of room to relax and bask in the sunshine.
Amenities: The house is close to The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Bournville College, Longbridge Technology Centre, Birmingham University and easy access to Queen Elizabeth hospital. Northfield Shopping Centre and Sainsbury’s is less than 10 to 15 minutes’ walk away.
Northfield train station is about 15 to 20 minutes’ walk.
There is a nice Starbucks coffee shop at the top of road, about 3 minutes walk from the house.
Parking: We have a private driveway with room for free parking.
The rent is £550 for the ensuite per month. Rent includes council tax, water, electricity, gas, TV and internet.
I am an accredited landlord (MLAS: Midland Landlord accreditation scheme)and work at a University in Birmingham.
As a household, we are sociable, easy going, clean, tidy, responsible and busy professionals.
