Description
A double room is available in our 4 bed house share at the start of June. We are a short walk from both Cannon Hill Park and Edgbaston cricket ground. The road itself is quiet and well located for getting to the city centre (approx 10 minutes by bike). We are also within walking distance of Aldi and Lidl, as well as the centres of Moseley and Kings Heath.
The house features a shared living room, a spacious kitchen equipped with cooker, microwave, 2 fridges, and a washing machine. We also have a tumble-dryer. There are 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, and you will be sharing the top floor one with one other person. We also have a back garden. There is also a spare room upstairs which is used as storage space. If you are cyclist there is space for your bike(s).
The room itself is cosy and is located on the top floor of the house. It is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk, and chair.
The landlord is generally helpful and responsive to any maintenance issues that have arisen in the house.
The bills are approximately £150 per month (council tax, gas & electricity, water, and broadband). And each tenant is expected to take up one of the bills in their name. We also purchase shared consumables (washing up liquid, sponges, etc) collectively so there is a small cost each month for these.
