Description
Due to personal reasons, I’ll be moving to Durham next semester and won’t be living here.
It’s a two-storey 3B3B quiet house, and the room for rent is upstairs, facing the garden. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Sainsbury’s and 30 minutes to the University of Birmingham. The next-door flatmate is a postdoc at the University of Birmingham.
Rental Details
• Rental period: 26 Nov 2025 – 25 Jun 2026 (no short-term lets)
• Rent: £700/month, all bills included
• Deposit: £800
• Payment: 3 months upfront, then monthly payments afterwards
• Female preferred, but male considered as well
Since this is the landlord’s property, he hopes to find someone who is clean and quiet. Please feel free to contact me if you’re interested. The following are some extra requirements from the landlord.
• The landlord doesn’t live here but occasionally comes by to pick up items and check the shared areas.
• No smoking and no pets allowed.
• Tenants are expected to keep common areas clean — both current housemates are tidy.
• Please use the extractor fan while cooking and keep the kitchen ventilated.
• Quiet hours: 9 PM – 9 AM.
• After showering, please ventilate the bathroom for at least 20 minutes and wipe down the bathtub and walls.
