Description
We’ll soon have a large double room available at the beginning of January. It’s actually the biggest room in the house, so it’s a bit of a bargain!
The Room:
• Spacious double room
• Double bed, walk-in wardrobe, set of drawers, desk & chair included
• Bright, comfortable, and perfect for working or studying at home
Location:
• Buses to the city centre run from just outside the house
• A short walk to Cannon Hill Park and the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) — cinema, café, bar
• Around 20 minutes to the University of Birmingham
• Great for cyclists: space for bikes, plus two cycle routes into town or out towards the River Rea and the hills
• Close to Moseley and Kings Heath for food, pubs, cafés, and live music
The House / Housemates:
Currently four young-to-middle-aged housemates (3 male, 1 female). We’re a friendly bunch of lefty/arty types.
I work at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and the rest of us are into music, arts, films, that kind of thing — but we’re not snobs about it!
We’d love someone with a vaguely similar vibe, but as long as you’re chilled and considerate, you’ll fit in fine.
Bills
Depending on the time of year, £400–£500 per month including bills (rent, council tax, energy, water, internet).
Students welcome, but you must be able to split all bills, including council tax.
Other Info
• All genders welcome
• No smoking inside — garden only
• Bikes welcome
• Move-in: Early January
If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to send me a message — we’d love to hear from you
