A lovely double furnished room for rent in a 4 bed Victorian terraced house in Bournville. Only a few minutes’ walk to Bournville train station for regular services to the city centre which is a journey of only 12 minutes and on the main circular bus routes to both Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the University. Ten mins walk takes you to Stirchley with many restaurants, cafes, bars and taprooms.

As well as the double room on the first floor you have sole use of your own bathroom, just next door. You will have use of the sitting room, kitchen and garden. The house has two separate downstairs reception rooms as well as a spacious well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave and a fridge-freezer, basically everything you might need. At the rear of the house there is another seating area with bi-fold doors leading into the well-established garden. The garden has a patio seating area.

You will be sharing the house with me, the live-in landlord. The house is on a lovely residential road with lots of green space and park areas close by.  There are no pets and it is a non-smoking house, I am vegetarian and also a very keen cook. I work as a theatre lighting designer lighting shows, concerts and tours so I have an office at home; I work from there during the daytime very often. The house has Virgin Fibre Broadband; the TV downstairs has all the usual channels, Netflix, Prime etc.

The road has free on street parking. There are a few local shops close by that cater for day to day things, bigger supermarkets are a few minutes’ drive away. There are lots of parks and green space within a few minutes’ walk of the house.
