Room is available from 1st November 2025. I will have moved out by then so looking for a replacement.
The area is popular among students, it is located close to the univeristy campus. It is not as busy as the city center, it's nice and relaxed.
Within 15 minutes walking distance you can find Cannon Park shopping center with various shops and services, including Tesco, Aldi and a petrol station.
10 minute walk to a bus station for 12X Platinum which takes you straight to city center and Pool Meadow coach station.
There are some green areas around for walking, can also link to the War Memorial park.
Carpet is very clean, I have operated shoes off policy inside.
Full ensuite - the room has its own toilet, sink and shower cabin - really handy to have.
Room comes with a small desk, chair, wardrobe, double bed and bedsite table.
Kitchen is spacious, too - two sinks, two stoves with gas hobs, one washing machine and one tumble dryer for shared use. Standard two cupboards per room.
Two large American style double fridges available for shared use.
New central heating system installed less than a year ago - powerful boiler, new radiators in all rooms, larger pipes. Heating works very well in all rooms.
The house is fitted with a fire alarm system, smoke detectors and carbon monoxied detectors.
Living room for shared use, there is space to safely store bicycles, too.
Very large garden and patio free to use by all tenants. A small barbeque is available for shared use, too.
Driveway can fit 4 cars without blocking each other, or more cars with blocking.
The house has 9 rooms, all currently occupied, but it doesn't feel crowded - people are in and out at different times. Currently all males occupants, mixed students and young professionals, friendly and approachable, ladies welcome, too.
All bills included (gas, electricity, water, Virgin Media broadband, council tax). Rent paid monthly.
Viewings are welcome Monday to Sunday 7am to 10pm.
