Description
I'm looking for one friendly, considerate lodger to join my lovely home in the heart of Cotteridge.
One of the rooms has already been taken by a friendly teacher, so you'll only be sharing with one other housemate. Although I own the house, I work in London so I’m just looking for two lodgers.
I'm hoping to create a calm, clean and welcoming home where everyone feels comfortable and relaxed.
The House
One spacious double bedroom still available
Two bathrooms (upstairs with a bath, downstairs with a shower)
Large sunny garden with an apple tree – perfect for relaxing, reading or enjoying a morning coffee
It’s on a quiet residential street with parking outside.
All bills and council tax included
The house has recently been refreshed with brand-new carpets throughout and brand-new furniture. Most of it is already in place, with just a few finishing touches still to arrive but everything will be ready before you move in, giving the house a fresh, modern feel.
Bathroom Renovation
Both bathrooms are fully functional, but the upstairs bathroom is due to be completely renovated in September to give the house an even more modern feel.
As a thank you for your patience during the short renovation period (should take max 10 days), the rent will be:
£640 per month (including all bills and council tax) until the renovation is complete in September
£800 per month (including all bills and council tax) once the new bathroom is finished
Only one bathroom will be renovated at a time, so you'll always have access to a fully functioning bathroom.
The Area
Cotteridge has a brilliant community feel and is a lovely place to live. The house is just a short walk from Cotteridge Park, perfect for a stroll or a picnic in the sunshine.
You'll find plenty of independent cafés nearby for weekend brunches and coffee, along with cosy pubs, restaurants, bakeries and local shops. You're also close to the Co-op, with Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury's all within around a 15-minute walk, making everyday life really convenient.
Kings Norton and Bournville train stations are both nearby, providing easy access into Birmingham city centre, while King's Heath and Moseley are just a short journey away. There are also excellent bus routes and road links.
Availability
The room is available now, and viewings are welcome.
If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, well looked after and that genuinely feels like home, I'd love to hear from you. Send me a message telling me a little about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing.
