Description
We are Armina, Grace, Daniel, Charlie and Aaron, a group of young professionals, apprentices and postgraduates looking for a person who is new to Birmingham to join our household. This spacious house is 30 minutes away from the city centre by bus and 10 minutes walking distance from several restaurants and pubs along Hagley Road. There is plenty on road parking. Its location provides an easy commute into the city centre, or the west or north side of Birmingham, as well as being convenient for the shops and bars in Bearwood. There are two gyms, a swimming pool and a rugby ground within a short distance.
All bedrooms are spacious doubles, the ground floor being devoted to communal space to create a homely environment. There's a laundry room with two large washer-driers, an ironing board and drying racks. The large garden is perfect for outdoor parties in the summer with a patio. The layout of the house therefore allows you to have a cosy night in with your housemates or the freedom to relax privately in your own room.
We're keen to fill the house with like-minded, sociable people. The house is part of the network of 15 Gradcommunity houses, located within a small area of Edgbaston within walking distance, giving you the opportunity to be part of a community of young professional people. Sociable events are often organised between the houses, whether a movie night, a summer barbecue or a night out. There is always someone to spend time with should you choose to do so. Gradcommunity is owned by a professional landlord who has provided sociable houses for 26 years and his wife, a solicitor who lectures in Law at Nottingham Trent University. You therefore will be renting from landlords you can trust. The ethos of Gradcommunity is that the household chooses who moves in. Therefore you won’t be anonymous renting a room in a house, but will be part of a household with a sense of community where members of the household support each other.
We look forward to hearing from you!
