A friendly and interesting elderly person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would value the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. They would also appreciate some practical help with tasks such as picking up shopping, cooking a few simple meals, sharing the odd meal or watching a film together, light cleaning and perhaps a little help in the garden, and ad hoc other practical help and errands as might be useful.

The accommodation on offer is a spacious furnished double bedroom with bathroom (shared with visiting family), potential use of a separate room as a study, and shared use of the kitchen and garden.

The property is in an excellent location close to local amenities, train station and local buses and with parking available.

The person is creative and enjoys reading, poetry, art, watching a good film and some quiz programmes, their garden, and the company of friends and family.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
