Description
Double bedroom available in lovely early 1900s home in Kings Heath, just off the main High St.
Hi, I'm Jack. I've lived in this great little house since 2022. I was living with my housemate, but as he is moving out I'm listing his old room to rent.
The house is very spacious, with two main rooms downstairs, a cosy kitchen, long garden (which is brilliant for hosting in the summer time) and modern, up-to-date bathroom with all the expected fixtures and fittings.
I'm a freelancer in the creative industry I love living in Kings Heath. I really like the house feeling like a home so I'm looking for someone to come in and really get involved in making the house feel like a shared space. I'm very sociable and would love to introduce someone to the area, or share recommendations and favourite spots if you're already a local.
Rent is £850 a month in total (£425 each), which is a great price for the area. Bills normally come out as somewhere around £100 (energy, internet, electric), council tax is just shy of £70 and water is currently set up as every 6 months and is usually about £110. I'm looking to change internet provider soon to save a few pennies there, too.
Security deposit is an estimate based on what we paid when we moved in- that will be confirmed when a new lease is arranged.
Private landlady who we've dealt with directly- she's brilliant and really hot on sorting stuff out; very easy to communicate with and no agents or companies to faff around with, other than signing the lease.
For me, this house has been a genuine dream to live in and I hope someone else would think so too! I'll be trying to have a chat with anyone who's interested and then move towards viewings and sorting everything out with the landlady.
Hope to hear from you soon!
