Cosy double room in friendly Kings Heath terrace

Cosy and comfortable (and freshly decorated) double bedroom in homely terrace house, across the road from Kings Heath Park. You'll be sharing with me, a live-in home owner, and my little dog.

Your room has neutral decor and brand new carpet. Double bed with comfortable mattress less than a year old. Tall chest of drawers, vanity unit, wardrobe and cube storage. Bathroom is shared with me - there's a shower and bath.

There's a comfortable shared living room and a well-equipped galley kitchen with dining area. Fair use of washing machine and dryer. There's a small garden with decked seating area.

The house is situated opposite Kings Heath park and a few minutes walk from Kings Heath High Street and lively York Road. There's a bus stop just round the corner that goes to Solihull and QE Hospital/ Birmingham University. There are frequent busses into the city centre from the High Street, plus the train station is set to open in early 2026, which will get you into the city centre in about 10 minutes. My house is a few minutes walk from the train station. Parking is on-road and can get quite busy but I never have a problem finding a space.

A bit about me - I'm a single professional woman, working from home. My partner lives abroad but comes to visit for a week or two approximately once a month. My friendly son will be back from university during holidays. I have a little terrier (she's not yappy) so you must like dogs. She's not good with other animals, so no pets please.

I'd prefer 6 months initially, then may be happy to extend. Rate includes gas, electricity, water, council tax, broadband - fair use applies.
