Friendly home - We cook for each other every 2 or 3 weeks and include people who have lived here, it's a great group. Ideal base for those new to Birmingham. Looking for a warm and laid back person who likes living with other people rather than eating in their room all the time. But not a party house!

Well furnished home not just a rented space. Big kitchen with table, plus dining room and sitting room downstairs with wooden floors. Rent includes fortnightly cleaner, the kitchen has a dishwasher.

Regular frequent buses to town and to University and QE.

It’s a small double room at the back of the house. It's very light with a view over the garden . The room has a wardrobe, shelves, plus drawers under the bed. There’s a surprising amount of storage.

Kings Heath is a neighbourhood with lots of cafes and life. It's a very quiet area & only a 5-minute walk from the Hare and Hounds, a wonderful pub with live music. Also near to Kings Heath park where the Kings Heath running club meets.

Shared rooms are kept clean and tidy. We take it in turns to do the dishwasher/ take out the rubbish.

The other housemate apart from me are Chris, a 32 year old male PhD student. (Some of the time, there's an extra housemate, often European post-grad students, who come for a month or two.) Shared bathroom for you and Chris plus downstairs loo.

There's a friendly cat Frankie - realistically you need to like cats!

Usual mod cons and amenities including unlimited wireless broadband, Netflix, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge and large freezer. We have a fortnightly cleaner, cost included.

Rent includes council tax, water rates and TV licence, line rental and broadband. We split bills for gas/electricity only. Approximate cost of this is £30 a month, less in the summer. Deposit is one month's rent, payable in advance to secure the room. (Or zero deposit scheme if you prefer)

Non-smokers only, sorry, as even if you smoke outside you will bring in the smell of smoke.

I would normally say come round, have a cup of tea, see the house and meet us. Given the coronavirus situation I think it would be better to do virtual viewings over WhatsApp video & chat and I show you round.
