Large double room available in a friendly house share on the Kings Heath / Moseley border.

We are a creative and easy-going house share on a quiet road, looking for another housemate to join us. The house is a beautiful three-storey Victorian terrace with lots of original period features. You’d be joining four housemates who enjoy shared, but independent living. We are looking for someone who enjoys a chat in the kitchen before going to do their own thing. We love to have dinner, watch a film, or play a board game together from time to time, but also respect each other's privacy and alone time.

The room is on the first floor. It has a bed and a wardrobe; otherwise, it comes unfurnished. It will be available from the 1st of October, although we can also discuss the last week of September (also, another room will be available in November in case you're looking to move a bit later).

Spaces we share: a large kitchen, a cosy living room, a bathroom with a shower over a bathtub, and a small toilet room downstairs. We also have a beautiful, large garden, perfect for BBQs, evening drinks, and even growing your own veg, and a large conservatory/bike house to keep your bike safe and dry.

The rent is currently £225 a month. Bills are not included and add up to approximately £130 a month, which takes the total cost to around £350.
Note: There is a possibility that the rent might increase a bit with a new contract, and please bear in mind that the bills can fluctuate, especially the energy costs :/

The deposit is £240. The minimum contract is 6 months, though we are most keen on someone who's gonna stay longer.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, but you can try to make friends with the squirrels in the garden, and the neighbours' cat loves hanging out on our doorstep.
