Double room near QE Hospital & UoB (Mon-Fri Let)

Hi,

I’m Laura, 39 and work full time in emergency planning whilst studying to be a coach on the side.

I have a double room for rent, Monday - Friday only so most suited to professionals working in Birmingham or surrounds. The room can be rented on a monthly basis for £700 inc bills or a weekly basis for £200 inc bills. I have initially put a 3 month term minimum but I am happy to discuss shorter or longer term if needed and also random weeks if not required every week.

All bills included. On street parking available, no permits required.

It's a beautiful 2-bedroom 1800's terrace in a nice part of Northfield. Open lounge/dining room with smart TV, Netflix and broadband. Fully equipped kitchen with washer, dryer, dishwasher and Range cooker.

Decent sized garden which backs on to a Church so very quiet and the neighbours are friendly. Nice little pub at the top of the street but no bother or noise.

The available room is a double which includes double bed with memory foam mattress topper, 3 drawer unit and option for either wardrobe or rail depending on your requirements. Happy to discuss any other preferences to see what I can do.

If staying longer term, I’m happy for you to leave clothes in drawers and food items to save you carrying back and forth too. I know that can be a pain with mon-Fri lets sometimes!

Large bathroom with shower and separate freestanding bath.

House is fitted with new alarm system, carbon monoxide detectors and fire alarms of course.

The train station (Northfield) is literally at the bottom of the street, less than 5-minute walk, and gets you in to Birmingham in 18 minutes. It's also only a 22-minute drive in to the centre and there's free on street parking. Only 10 minutes by train or car to the QE hospital and close to Birmingham Uni campus.

Reasonable priced and fairly new gym is only a short walk away with pool, classes and gym. 15-minute drive to the Lickey Hills if you like walking and 20 minutes to the Clent Hills.

I’m looking for someone clean, tidy, considerate and someone who wants a place that feels like home. No party animals and someone who will respect and look after the house and its contents.

I’m generally very busy with work, volunteering, study, gym and trying to fit in social activities.
