Description

Hello,

My name is Sian and I'm waiting for the mortgage to go through on this new property. I currently live around the corner and am looking for a fresh start in this new house with 1 other person to move in with me.

I am a 35 year old single professional female.

The house is in Rednal near to Rubery Great Park, which has a cinema, bowling alley, pub, restaurants and a bingo hall. It is around 20 minutes walk from Longbridge town centre and Longbridge train station. There are frequent transport links (buses and trains) to Birmingham city centre and surrounding areas.

There are 3 bedrooms- 2 doubles and a large single. I am more than happy for the single to be a shared space, whether that be an office, walk in wardrobe or storage etc. The house is unfurnished, though I will be bringing furniture from my current house.

Communal areas include a large kitchen which has a fitted oven and stove and dining area. I will have a fridge, washing machine and microwave which I am happy for my new housemate to use. There is a spacious living room, upstairs bathroom with a shower and downstairs WC. There is also a large garden which will be great in the summer months. There are lots of cupboards for storage around the house and a loft that can be used also. All communal areas are free to be used and I would never expect my new housemate to hide in their room (unless they wanted to, of course!).

There is one allocated parking space with the property but lots of on street parking. I do drive but happy to share the parking space.

Household bills are currently excluded from the rent total and I am looking to split these bills equally. I would prefer another professional female, though a professional male would be considered.

I am a very sociable, out-going person (though not overbearing) and would love the opportunity for someone to move in at the same time as me so we can both make it feel at home, rather than a place you just live in.

I travel quite a lot for gigs and festivals so wouldn't be there all the time and I only work from home once a week.

I am looking for someone similar to me (doesn't have to be in to metal music etc) who is down to earth and will respect the home when it comes to cleaning. I am also happy to consider other small pets.

The photos are from the house sale listing and new carpets etc will be fitted before we move in.

The mortgage is currently going through the sale process and the estimated move in date is around the start of May. I believe the council tax band is B.

Any questions, please do feel free to ask!
