Description
I'm a caring, friendly woman who lives in my own home. I am looking for a housemate / lodger with whom to share my home. I share my home with Maisie, my large border collie / boxer cross dog and Bubble and Squeak, my two guinea pigs.
Room description: The room is a south-facing, good-sized double bedroom, with garden view. It has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, desk, large cupboard, chest of draws, shelves & TV aerial point.
House description: Bright end-terrace with front, back & side gardens & a brick shed with electricity, suitable for bicycle storage. I have a south-facing lounge with view of the back garden, with a real fire & lots of books, a kitchen with washer/dryer, gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dish-washer, digital radio & gadgets, a bathroom with bath & electric over-bath shower. I have Wifi broadband, gas central heating & double glazing. I don't have a TV, but I have a TV licence for anyone who wishes to have a TV in their room. Storage is available in my floored attic. The house is located down a path, so it's nice and quiet.
I have a cleaner, who cleans the communal areas once a week.
Location: On-street parking is available & it's close to good road links; the A45 to Birmingham being 5 minutes drive away. It's 20 minutes walk from Tile Hill train station, which is on the Birmingham to London line. It's close to bus routes to the city centre & Warwick University. It's 5 - 10 minutes walk away from 3 pubs, a post office, Tile Hill library & various shops. There's cycle routes near-by, including to Warwick Uni (15 mins cycle ride). It's 3 minutes walk away from ancient woodland & close to the countryside & public footpaths over fields etc.
I would like to share my home with a friendly, kind, considerate & liberal-minded person. I love cooking and I do eat all kinds of meat. The most important thing is that I get on with a potential lodger, as I live here too! I will consider people who are in receipt of universal credit etc and / or who have a pet/s.
The rent is £450 pcm inclusive of bills. A deposit of £200 will be required. The deposit will be returned, when you move out, provided there's no damage. They're no administration fees. Notice period is one calendar month.
NB: Party animals & heavy drinkers will not be suitable. My home is strictly non-smoking (inside & outside). I'm afraid I'm unable to consider couples; partners are welcome to visit, just not to move in! Sorry, I will not consider short term lets.
