Description
Room available in the Tile Hill area of Coventry, close to Warwick University. I don't want to put a wall of text here so I'll just do a list of important info;
- Tenancy is until September 2020, but if you want to stay longer than this the estate agent will likely allow you to sign a new contract.
- Have the option of large downstairs room or medium sized upstairs room, which can be discussed with the existing housemates when viewing. (Rent is £350 for the large room, £300 for the medium)
- A dog lives here! 4y. o. Border Collie. She's very gentle, and never ever bites. She is a rescue dog though so a little anxious of strangers at first and will bark at you, but she settles within minutes.
- 3 Warwick University students live here, but you don't need to be a student yourself (I'm not!).
- There is a spare, single bedroom, which you can have visiting friends/family stay in if you like - it's super handy.
- Everyone is pretty clean so the communal areas are generally clear. Being cleanly isn't essential but it would be preferred.
- Bills aren't included in the rent price but work out ~£40 a month (that includes internet too). One of the existing tenants will handle all that, you just transfer to them.
- Couples welcome in the sense that if you have a partner and want them around a lot, that's not an issue, others in the house do the same! If they'll actually be living with you though, you probably need to talk to the estate agent as we don't know where they'd stand on that.
- Will need to come to the estate agent and sign a tenancy agreement until September to officiate you moving in.
Lastly, everyone is pretty friendly and sociable, and respectful too. I myself am not a student and I've lived here the past year and a half pretty much never being interrupted by parties or loud noise late at night, so if you aren't a student, don't worry! You'll probably fit in just fine.
