Lovely spacious double room in Ardingly

We are looking for a professional person to share our lovely home - which is full of art and character, in Ardingly.

A mature student or studying pilots are also welcome. Someone who is polite, social, tidy, and respectful of their surroundings.

The bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed, plus a day bed/sofa, desk and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Also a lovely small sink area. If you like yoga - there is plenty of room for a mat.

The bathroom for you - with shower and large bath is right next to the room and only the toilet is shared. Our rooms all have showers and en-suites.

We are on the high street but set back with a secluded garden. There is a small shop right across the road and a cosy cafe which serves good food, plus a great baker.

Ardingly is a 7 minute drive to Haywards Heath and 15-20 minutes to Gatwick. The village has two pubs and a reservoir. Great for runs and walking too. Lindfield is our next large village with lovely high street and lots of individual shops, pubs and nice coffee shops.

Our children have flown the nest, so it's just me, my husband, and a lodger who originally came for 6 months and is still here 10 years on. One of us works full time and the other is semi retired, and writing a book. We are easy-going, and friendly, and we are looking to welcome a similar person into our home.

The property is a large 5-bed character property with plenty of space and a secluded garden. Parking is available on the road and there are two small car parks in the village too - both free.

You will have the large bathroom and share 'the toilet only' with one other person and occasionally a family visitor or someone staying in our small double.

We are looking for short-term lodgers 4-6 months but happy to consider longer.

We can supply clean bedding and towels every week or fortnight for a reasonable cost.

We would consider a couple. The cost of the room would be: £980pm for a couple.

We would appreciate references, ID and verification of employment.
