An older lady with some reduced memory is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some help with daily practical tasts such as shopping, cooking (for or together) up to four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc practical tasks and errands as may be helpful.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom with its own shower room and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in a beautiful setting just 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Chichester – car owner/driver essential.

The lady still drives and lives independently, but is now at the stage where she would appreciate some help and company in her home. She enjoys current affairs and reads the newspaper and watches the news. She also enjoys documentaries and wildlife programmes. She has a lovely garden with a large vegetable patch, so someone who enjoys gardening would be a bonus. She used to be a professional musician and music teacher. She has a close family and also enjoys seeing her friends. She enjoys simple, healthy meals with plenty of vegetables. Please note she has a cat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a mature, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
