Description
This attic space provides self contained accommodation in the Whyke area of Chichester, and is less than ten minutes' walk from the city centre, train and bus stations.
The attic is separated from the rest of the house by a fire door at the bottom of its own flight of stairs, creating a good sense of space as soon as you enter it. There is an ensuite shower room. At one end of the main space there is a kitchenette, with sink, fridge, induction hob, mini oven and microwave. I provide cutlery and crockery. There is a table with chairs, two chests of drawers, a hanging clothes rail and further storage space in the eaves cupboards. There are shelves in the stairwell and two large stands of shelves, which you can place where you like. Bamboo flooring and furniture give it all a nice natural, fresh feel. You'd be welcome to move the furniture around, of course.
Freshly redecorated June 2020.
The current members of the household (two in their twenties, two in their fifties) are all staying on. We are all friendly, supportive and respectful of each other, and would of course extend the same treatment to you. While we all have our own facilities, it's important that we feel we are also part of a shared household, that we look out for each other.
You would have the use of our communal washing machine and clothes line in the back garden. We have a WhatsApp group for the household, which is handy for negotiating times for putting washing on!
All bills are covered in the £625 pcm, including WiFi. Free parking is available on a couple of nearby streets, and also on the street outside the house outside of working day hours. You can also buy parking vouchers from the district council.
Bedding will be provided, although you'd be welcome to bring your own, of course. The ceiling is well insulated, so doesn't get terribly hot on hot days. For the winter, you a 2kw Delonghi oil-filled radiator, so that you can keep the room the temperature you want.
No couples or pets. No smokers or heavy drinkers.
If you are interested, please get in touch and we can start with a chat on the phone and then arrange a viewing if it seems like a good fit :)
