Large airy double room in quiet house

Hi,

(Images shown are prior to current lodger moving in. When they move out I plan to freshen the room up.)

I'm offering a lovely airy and bright room that has tons of storage space; large wardrobe, under bed drawers and built in cupboard.

I’m looking for a female lodger preferably.

The room is a blank canvas to allow you to make your own, I have added a desk to allow flexibility for either working from home or as a dressing table. I can add a chair once I know how you would like to use it. The room is on the sunny side of the house so wonderfully bright.

I have a bathroom and toilet which I have kept separate for comfort and convenience.

My little garden has a vegetable plot, when I have excess you may well be offered some!

I have a cat, but she keeps herself to herself, and isn't generally a lap cat. My partner stays a few nights over a fortnight, but doesn't live at my property.

I work in the cultural sector and I'm a big fan of museums and libraries. During the lockdown I have got much more into nature, in particular my garden, Tilgate and getting outdoors generally. I love a bit of TV when I have time, especially the annual dose of Bake Off, Strictly, MasterChef and Who Do You Think You Are?! I work from home and commute.

I am very respectful of your privacy and more than happy if you'd rather keep yourself to yourself.

My home is not a party house, instead a quiet and chilled space.

Storage space: the bedroom offers lots of storage space. I can offer fridge space, a drawer in my freezer and some kitchen cupboard space so you feel at home. I can also provide some space in the bathroom cupboard.

Bills: All included (including WIFI as long as the download limit isn't breached). I am on a water meter, but I would hope anyone these days is mindful of not wasting water resources any way.

Location: I live a 5 minute walk from Tilgate Park/Forest in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac. I can offer an off road parking space in front of my house. I live a 5 minute walk from Tilgate Parade shops and the no. 2 bus route or 10 minutes to no. 10/20 bus route. I cycle to work using the national cycle route between Tilgate/Three Bridges/Gatwick which is really handy.
